So come, my friends, be not afraid/We are so lightly here/It is in love that we are made; In love we disappear

Has he been doing ANYTHING lately? After BIG NUMBERS died prematurely, the only things I remember him doing (other than occasional single panels) were MOBY DICK for the short-lived revival of Classics Illustrated and a set of Kennedy Assassination Conspiracy Theory trading cards. Oh, and he did a story in the Sandman Eternals hardcover, right?

Bill Sienkiewicz does a hell of a lot, but a lot of it isn't comics these days. He does album covers, storyboards--tons of stuff.

And yeah, he did Delirium in Endless Nights.

You always do this. We get tipsy, and you take advantage of my love of the scientific method.

He (Sienkiewicz) did a story in the The Escapist #2. (I really hate his artwork.)

Did anybody pick up Escapist #3? I flipped through it, but it didn't grab me at.

More Ple

You've probably already seen them, but I was just flipping through an article with her today.

I also bought an issue of Comic Book Artist with a cover and lots of interior illos by Darwyn Cooke (Catwoman).

I know my own heart and understand my fellow man. But I am made unlike anyone I have ever met. I dare to say I am like no one in the whole world. - Anne Lister

I have this and got it signed by Darwyn. It rules!

Art Crawl!!!

So, this Manhunter book that starts tomorrow, anyone heard anything? And how does it tie in to IC ?

The artist formerly associated with cupcakes.

I'm not sure what I'd say the best comic book ever is.

Duh! Sandman, with Prometha as a close second.

I'm currently re-reading Stray Toasters, and trying to figure out why Bill Sienkiewicz's art works for me in it, but leaves me cold in other works.

Sigh. It is another big day tomorrow. I should stop fooling myself into thinking I have release days that are not big, because this is a light week for me.

  • Batgirl #55
  • Batman Gotham Knights #56
  • Birds Of Prey #72
  • Plastic Man #9
  • Robin #129

And if there are copies in, Manhunter #1

Plei, do you want to borrow my copy of Stray Toasters? I can't remember if you've read it or not.

Remember, remember/the fifth of November/the Gunpowder Treason and Plot/I see no reason/Why Gunpowder Treason/Should ever be forgot.

So, this Manhunter book that starts tomorrow, anyone heard anything? And how does it tie in to IC ?

I've only seen the first issue. Variation of the classic Vigilante concept, only versus superhumans. Execution is everything, so I need to give it a couple issues.

There is nothing in the concept that inherently ties it to IC.
