Though that is NOT the voice for the character in my head!
No kidding. I did like that he used
the boxing glove arrow on the punks in the store.
Did anyone else notice Green Lantern
call Kara "Shayera" just after he'd gotten clobbered by the robot?
My local comic store was sold out of Astounishing and Powers when I got there. I did get UFF, Losers, The Legion, and DC New Frontiers, which has been great.
Was anyone else monumentally disappointed to read the final installment of Another Nail and realize that the big reveal was that
Davis stole his plot from the Star Trek episode with the big energy-sucking amoeba
?
So, I saw the JLU premiere, and -- I like Green Arrow! He's like that in the comics?
Watching TT now, and -- this bugged me last season, too -- why do Terra's eyes keep changing from blue to purple?

I don't know? Was he a sarcastic, authority-hating hound dog?
Was he a sarcastic, authority-hating hound dog?
Pretty much. The portrayal was good, even if the voice was sort of wrong.
Was he a sarcastic, authority-hating hound dog?
Ever so slightly.
How does George Eads's
voice
sound like it has a crewcut? I was impressed.
My issues with the ep -- why send
Captain Atom in to stick in the carbon rods?
Even if the REALLY OBVIOUS IDEA of
shooting them in (and I'm going to ignore all the physics, including nuclear here)
doesn't occur to anyone,
Supergirl had been
even closer to it than he had, and suffered no apparent harm. And
she doesn't have that pesky absorption
problem.
Also?
Call for help.
Isn't that like, the point of Unlimited? Why wait?
Were Nick Fury and S.H.I.E.L.D in other of the X-Men books? For some reason I thought Fury had his own continuity, and appearing in an X-title would be a crossover.

They pop up all over the place. They're like a superhero CIA. FBI. Whatever.

Like ita said, S.H.I.E.L.D. is all over the place in the Marvel Universe. Kitty Pryde even worked for them once.

Which is why, when watching Spider-Man 2, I got my Geek Ire on in a big way, because, damn it, S.H.I.E.L.D. could have popped in to help!
(Of course, that would diminish the movie, but since I'm thinking of them as though they're real, I just want Spidey to get the help he needs....)
