Anya, the Shopkeepers of America called. They wanted me to tell you that 'please go' just got replaced with 'have a nice day.'

"I remember when they eventually introduced that drug kingpin who murdered people and smuggled drugs inside snakes and I was like 'Finally. A normal person.'” —RahvinDragand

Heh. Now, I can get someone like Raven being worried about a wormy apple in the family tree, what with Daddy's control issues including actually possessing his offspring and all. But for most people, the character of biological parents that had no hand in the upbringing isn't terribly important unless their character issues are tied to something physical like alcoholism. You'd think by the time DC started dealing with real-world spaceflight, they'd have dropped the "sins of the fathers" hooey.

Art Crawl!!!

I put this month's and last month's Robins on hold -- because I bought -- two NW tpbs, Astounding X-Men (2 copies -- one for a friend), the first book of "Nevermore" and a GC back issue.

So, are you guys saying that Batman is no longer the "Dark Knight" but more the "Kind of Jolly Knight" now that Step is Robin?

What else besides ramen can you scoop? YOU CAN SCOOP THIS WORLD FROM DARKNESS!

Do the Batman in the eponymous title and the Batman in Robin's title share continuity? I don't read either, but the whitefont is making me curious about this fact.

I think that they do. . . unless your talking about the Dark Knight Returns, then no.

Batman eponymous is running a little behind Robin right now.

Oh and I have a Catwoman question -- I looked at the new Catwoman and decided to not pick it up. It seems to be in Continuity with Batman etc, but when did they both start knowing each other's real identities? I mean -- have they always? Why wouldn't Bruce figure out some way to turn her in? Or is she all good now? Thanks!

I may have to seize the cat.

Far from caught up. Just wanted to say that while I was out today getting Astonishing #2, I also got Batman: Year One. It was remarkably well-priced, and the comic book shop's $10 or more credit card rule applied. Because I only had $2 cash.

Sumi: during Hush, when they were sort of involved, which would answer the second question. IIRC, though, Bruce has known Selina was Catwoman for a while (they know each other as Bruce and Selina as well, natch, and have a history of sorts). His reveal to her of his ID was a big effin deal in Hush.

move out and draw fire

Is there a website that lists all the issues of any particular title?
