Lorne: Back in Pylea they used to call me "sweet potato." Connor: Really. Lorne: Yeah, well, the exact translation was "fragrant tuber" but…

GS: If you had to choose between kicking evil in the head or the behind, which would you choose, and why? Minsc: I'm not sure I understand the question. I have two feet, do I not? You do not take a small plate when the feast of evil welcomes seconds.

I think that's this month's issue.

No, I don't think I will - me, quoting Captain Steve Rogers, to all of 2020

My personal Green Lantern is John. John rocks.

Dude. That's like saying Tim Dalton's the best Bond! (:

I liked Timothy Dalton's Bond

To understand what happened at the diner, we shall use Mr. Papaya! This is upsetting because he's the friendliest of fruits.

I liked Timothy Dalton's Bond

That's a valid lifestyle choice, Andrew. (:

"We are the Goon Squad and we're coming to town...Beep! Beep!" - David Bowie, "Fashion"

I liked Timothy Dalton's Bond

He was definitely better than the movies he was in (sort of the anti-Lazenby). Living Daylights was OK, but the other one? NSM. Although, you just don't get enough movies with a) Anthony Zerbe blowin' up real good, b) Big Ed getting eaten by a shark, or c) Benecio Del Toro beating Steve Buscemi to the wood chipper scene by several years. Unfortunately, any movie with Wayne Newton is too many.

What else besides ramen can you scoop? YOU CAN SCOOP THIS WORLD FROM DARKNESS!

Another thing I forgot to mention about the original Dark Phoenix saga: Cyclops talking down Dark Phoenix with love is very, very similar to Xander talking down Dark Willow with love. Which is not surprising.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Robin question: Who is Cassie, now? I'm so easily confused.

Didn't like the Astounishing art so much this week. Emma looked off. I'm made very sad by Beast's question at the end -- I'm glad I'm not a huge fan, because this way I may be able to resist the imminent woobiness. Between this and Dark Beast and him being dead in Ultimate, it's been a hard (multi)life.

ita, she's the new Batgirl (though sometimes I forget that, too).

So come, my friends, be not afraid/We are so lightly here/It is in love that we are made; In love we disappear

I haven't seen Robin yet, but I'd assume it's Cassie-Wonder Girl-Cassie. Unless it's not, in which case I have no clue, unless it's Cass, but she's not a Cassie.

Art Crawl!!!

So both new Batgirl AND new Wonder Girl are called Cassie?
