I'm pretty sure the two smaller books were Crisis of Infinite Earth 1 and 2. Next time I'm in there I'll check.
Arrowette still sounds like a silly name.
Discussion of Buffy and Angel comics, books, and more. Please don't get into spoilery details in the first week of release.

Arrowette, no.
Her story was revealed in Young Justice, the precursor title to Teen Titans. The line-up of that book was Wonder Girl, Robin, Superboy, Impulse, Secret (a character who was only in that title) with later additions of Arrowette, Empress (a characer who was only in that title) and Lil' Lobo.
Arrowette was the daughter of the Silver Age Arrowette, who was the female counterpoint to Speedy, Green Arrow's ward. How Bonnie (Cissie's mom) became the first Arrowette, I do not know. She later left the superhero biz, got married, settled down, got tendonitis from temp work and transferred her super-hero aspirations on her daughter.
Please note that makes Bonnie a contemporary of Arensal, though she has been routinely protrayed in the modern comics to be older than Arensal (she at least in mid 30s while Arensal is in mid 20s) How they get around that bit of inconsistency? Lots of ignoring and the magic of Hypertime...
Bonnie also had the lovely idea of making sure Cissie had more than one costume, to maximize Arrowette's action figure marketability.
Cissie is currently retired, after nearly killing someone in a fit of temper.

And "a bit" is such understatement here.
Heh. I think Arsenel may have passed him, though.

I'm certainly curious. Just don't buy it if it's "What if Stan Lee had written Crisis" or any of that junk. Not the same thing.
Arrowette still sounds like a silly name.
When you get right down to it, most of 'em are.
Arrowette still sounds like a silly name.
It is, but in a way that makes sense and adds to the story. Her arc was incredibly well done.

Now I want to run back and check! But I'm trying to stay away from the stores because I always end up spending money.
And of course now I want to read more about Arrowette.

Bless his booty-seeking bottom.
Yes. Roy's a big old ho. Which makes anything where Roy and Connor are hanging extra-amusing.
Unlike Ollie, Roy's pretty blunt and direct about his lack of intentions.
Read Young Justice askye. Written by Peter David, it was one of the under appreciated titles of DC. Unfortunately, most of the series was uncollected, but they should be readily available in back issue bins at low costs.
And of course now I want to read more about Arrowette.
Well, she only really appeared in Impulse and Young Justice, so it's not THAT much to pick up. (:
Although seriously--the Young Justice Buffy parody--Wendy the Werewolf Stalker--is priceless.
And of course now I want to read more about Arrowette.
You need Young Justice for that. Though she's in a couple issues of Impulse pre-YJ.
Damn, that was a good book. (YJ)
I remember best the Young Justice issue when they got all of the teen heroes of the DC universe for the assault on that villian's island. Heck, PAD made the Wonder Twins seem cool in that issue.
