To understand what happened at the diner, we shall use Mr. Papaya! This is upsetting because he's the friendliest of fruits.

And "a bit" is such understatement here.

Heh. I think Arsenel may have passed him, though.

I'm pretty sure the two smaller books were Crisis of Infinite Earth 1 and 2. Next time I'm in there I'll check.

I'm certainly curious. Just don't buy it if it's "What if Stan Lee had written Crisis" or any of that junk. Not the same thing.

Arrowette still sounds like a silly name.

When you get right down to it, most of 'em are.

So come, my friends, be not afraid/We are so lightly here/It is in love that we are made; In love we disappear

It is, but in a way that makes sense and adds to the story. Her arc was incredibly well done.

Thrive to spite them

Now I want to run back and check! But I'm trying to stay away from the stores because I always end up spending money.

And of course now I want to read more about Arrowette.

Bless his booty-seeking bottom.

Yes. Roy's a big old ho. Which makes anything where Roy and Connor are hanging extra-amusing.

Unlike Ollie, Roy's pretty blunt and direct about his lack of intentions.

Remember, remember/the fifth of November/the Gunpowder Treason and Plot/I see no reason/Why Gunpowder Treason/Should ever be forgot.

Read Young Justice askye. Written by Peter David, it was one of the under appreciated titles of DC. Unfortunately, most of the series was uncollected, but they should be readily available in back issue bins at low costs.

Well, she only really appeared in Impulse and Young Justice, so it's not THAT much to pick up. (:

Although seriously--the Young Justice Buffy parody--Wendy the Werewolf Stalker--is priceless.

You need Young Justice for that. Though she's in a couple issues of Impulse pre-YJ.

Damn, that was a good book. (YJ)

I remember best the Young Justice issue when they got all of the teen heroes of the DC universe for the assault on that villian's island. Heck, PAD made the Wonder Twins seem cool in that issue.

Still howling from:

Nightwing: Is there anyone you won't sleep with?

Arsenel: From the pool of superheroines with the bodies of Olympians? No, dude. (From memory--may not be exact quote.)

Arsenel so speaks the truth.

We're starting to scare me, boys.

Although seriously--the Young Justice Buffy parody--Wendy the Werewolf Stalker--is priceless.

The panel where Kon and Tim are arguing about it, and Kon is defending it on account of all the meaningful subtext?

I about fell out of my chair laughing.
