Welllll, I already had two TPBs in my hand because they were having a sale on those.

Dude! TPBs are the gateway drug!
Dude! TPBs are the gateway drug!
Dude yourself. You're talking to somebody who between 1971-75 bought literally every single Marvel and DC comic there was, plus a smattering of Harvey and Archie.
More like a relapse.

My third.
Dude! TPBs are the gateway drug!
Dude yourself.
No, *you* dude yourself!
I have no idea what that means.

Small stack of comics today. Barely had time to read any.
Astounishing X-Men was fun. Not completely sold yet, but comfortable enough for the ride. (Unlike JLA, which I'm not sure why I'm still reading.)
Outsiders, on the other hand kicked, kicked kicked. If only for the Nightwing/Arsenel/Huntress dialouge. BWAHAHAHAHAHA!!!
Is the 3 issue Miracleman Apocrypha series worth getting?
It's been a while since I read Miracleman, but there was nothing I read that I wouldn't consider worth buying.
The Arsenal/Nightwing/Huntress dialogue was funny -- heck, the Nightwing/Huntress dynamic is always interesting -- but I keep feeling like the story is an excuse for the snark rather than vice-versa. I'm always happy to be convinced otherwise, of course.
Though, speaking of one-liners, I will say that in part 2 of the Tarantula Detective Comics run, I loved Batman's "Well, I don't traipse around half-naked" line to Catalina. Such a dad comment, right down to the use of the verb "traipse." And of course, then he told her to get out of his town. Which, who could argue with?
