I caught her on a park bench, making out with a *chaos* demon! Have you ever seen a chaos demon? They're all slime and antlers.

I may have to seize the cat.

I'm excited because the lovely smonster informed me our store is having a "Since we aren't getting any new ishs until Thursday..." sale in which all back issues and TPBs are buy one, get one 1/2 off. So I'll probably head over there just before class.

with a gleam in my eye, and an almost airtight alibi

Oh, thank you for the reminder, CaBil. I would've gone to the store. D'oh!

GS: If you had to choose between kicking evil in the head or the behind, which would you choose, and why? Minsc: I'm not sure I understand the question. I have two feet, do I not? You do not take a small plate when the feast of evil welcomes seconds.

'Crikey! This Spider-Man is one of the most dangerous creatures in new York City! Look at him, folks! That's a beautiful Super 'ero right there. Hold on little fella, Oi'm not gonna hurt ya, just' .... And so on.

I'd gathered this was part of his "act". He doesn't use the accent when he's not on camera in the book.

Crispy Critters (anybody remember that cereal?):

So I'm likely stopping by ye old comic store afterwork to pick Ultimate Spiderman 60 and hopefully 58 and 59 (since my download stops at 57) if they have them.

I'm up to about #35 or so in Ultimate X-Men. Like it so far, though not nearly as much as USM, but the artist and, most importantly, art style changing every few books is annoying. Especially since some of them aren't all that great or don't mesh with the mood of the story in question. Other than that, I'm enjoying it. Since I'm not as familiar with the comics, my only question is, is Prof X (white fonted just to be safe) being this manipulative, to the point where even his students question if they're being telepathically-influenced, new to this series or did it originate in the standard Marvel-verse?

As CaBil pointed out above, due to the holiday, most shops won't have the new comics out until tomorrow.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Whee!

The Justice League animated series is going to get bigger very quickly. Before the opening theme of the season opener of Justice League Unlimited, viewers will be treated to more than 60 heroes.
