I want to torture you. I used to love it, and it's been a long time. I mean, the last time I tortured someone, they didn't even have chainsaws.

GS: If you had to choose between kicking evil in the head or the behind, which would you choose, and why? Minsc: I'm not sure I understand the question. I have two feet, do I not? You do not take a small plate when the feast of evil welcomes seconds.

Crispy Critters (anybody remember that cereal?):

So I'm likely stopping by ye old comic store afterwork to pick Ultimate Spiderman 60 and hopefully 58 and 59 (since my download stops at 57) if they have them.

I'm up to about #35 or so in Ultimate X-Men. Like it so far, though not nearly as much as USM, but the artist and, most importantly, art style changing every few books is annoying. Especially since some of them aren't all that great or don't mesh with the mood of the story in question. Other than that, I'm enjoying it. Since I'm not as familiar with the comics, my only question is, is Prof X (white fonted just to be safe) being this manipulative, to the point where even his students question if they're being telepathically-influenced, new to this series or did it originate in the standard Marvel-verse?

As CaBil pointed out above, due to the holiday, most shops won't have the new comics out until tomorrow.

Hey...July 3 is Free Comics Day.

Oh, yeah! Okay, that means I'll hold off for another day and hit the comic store tomorrow.

Tomorrow is June 3, not July 3.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Whee!

The Justice League animated series is going to get bigger very quickly. Before the opening theme of the season opener of Justice League Unlimited, viewers will be treated to more than 60 heroes.

More spoilers.

Art Crawl!!!

I don't think that shrift is going to be able to wait an entire MONTH to go to the comic store.

I may have to seize the cat.

I was gonna go to the sale today but then practicality won and said... "Now Kiba. You could stay at home and play video games that you've already paid for, or you could go to the comic book store and spend $20 on books you'll have finished reading by tomorrow. So what's it gonna be?"

And the video games won.

Yes, I think I have achieved certifiable geekdom, when my debates over what to do involve the options of videogameorcomicbook?

Well, I don't mind the correction. I misread that as June because I routinely skim and minimize at work due to people not staying the hell out of my office.

So I saw Ju-- t minimize 3 t minimize What the hell was I do--? t minimize Bzuh?

That sort of thing. I'd go into withdrawal if I didn't visit the comic store for a whole month.

Just called the local store. Owner said new books were delayed until tomorrow. So thanks for the heads up.
