Oh, man, she's totally adorable. And she speaks French.
I know, how cute is she? And she's got mad skills. I wonder if Joss has seen it?

In Other Comics News:
This may be old news to some, but it's big news to me; DC comics bought the rights to re-publish 2000AD stories.
Thank god DC's not attempting to do their own version of 2000AD properties. Their shot at a Judge Dredd line was abysmal, not least because they chose to re-write the continuity. Guh.
I saw something in the comic store and promptly forgot the title, so I can't look it up. But it was a book (hard cover) by Wizard which looked like a comprehensive guide to Jim Lee's work.
Have they done other artists, does anyone know?
Awright, Plei...
Assume I haven't read a Bat-book since No Man's Land Vol. 1. Give me a precis on Bat-books I absolutely must find since then.
and....GO!
Well, for starters, V2-5.
Then Batman: Officer Down, and Batman: Bruce Wayne, Murderer? followed by B:BW, Fugitive V1, 2, and 3.
I actually only dip into the Bat-books on occasion, but my favorite Batman story of late is "JLA: Tower of Babble," where a villain takes the JLA down with Batman's own anti-JLA contingency plans.
Neat, nasty stuff.

Had this discussion before, but...yeah! Ra's al Ghul, Batman's anti-JLA Protocols.
Only beef: Ra's al Ghul would have used the deadly protocols.
Don't give me that look. Batman has deadly protocols.
The only JLA I've seen is from that very odd Atlantis-related plot arc. Which has a bunch of covers in which Wonder Woman is inexplicably Asian, but also has enough awesome character moments (Wally! Kyle! "The daring young man on the flying trapeze"!) to make up for the cracktastic plot.
Oh, and I forgot to add: Gotham Central. IIRC, the first five are out in trade.
So effin' good.
