I get confused. I remember everything. I remember too much, and... some of it's made up, and... some of it can't be quantified, and... there's secrets.

So come, my friends, be not afraid/We are so lightly here/It is in love that we are made; In love we disappear

Well, sure. The lure of Bat-smut is strong.

Last night, I was up until 1 writing Bat-gen.

Which somehow involved re-reading NW 87-92. Again. Gotta stop doing that.

"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

From Gone And Forgotten, after trying to parse the unresolvable thicket of whether early Wonder Girl stories were actually about Diana as a teen, or Donna Troy (this is very muddled. It started as one thing, then switched to another):

Continuity Meter: After this story, the Continuity Meter began crying and told me it's never known love.

Not got a lot to say...

Bat-Smut makes the baby Joker cry.

My heads just hurts from the oddities brought to light in this thread. Not to even mention Bob.

eta: I can't spell. I blame Bob's ghost.

No, I don't think I will - me, quoting Captain Steve Rogers, to all of 2020

Not to even mention Bob

Poor Bob.

He didn't like carrots.

Bat-Smut makes the baby Joker cry.

Only 'cause he knows Bats will never ask him to the prom...

"We are the Goon Squad and we're coming to town...Beep! Beep!" - David Bowie, "Fashion"

Poor Bob. He always had an unhealthy fixation with tapioca.

He didn't like carrots.

But he liked bubble tea a little TOO much.

Except ground finely into tapioca. This was his undoing. Serves him right the gruddamn food-perv.

"Don't think of yourself as an organic pain collector racing towards oblivion." Dogbert to Dilbert

Chiming in on a couple of topics (I'm really not here, I'm at a conference)...

Ultimate Fantastic Four. Seriously. It rocks.

I love it (and Warren Ellis will be taking over the writing chores soon), but man, it is moving s-l-o-w-l-y.

The history of the world told through the Major Arcana of the Tarot (in numerical sequence) was quite breathtaking storytelling.

You forgot to add that it was accompanied by rhymed verse, for every single tarot card. And the exteneded story/joke carried through the entire book.

That issue probably took me 4 hours to read through the first time. I doubt I've ever read a comic as dense with material as that issue (#13, I believe).
