Not got a lot to say...

He didn't like carrots.

Except ground finely into tapioca. This was his undoing. Serves him right the gruddamn food-perv.

Not got a lot to say...

Only 'cause he knows Bats will never ask him to the prom...

Or help out with waxing his bikini-line.

"Don't think of yourself as an organic pain collector racing towards oblivion." Dogbert to Dilbert

Chiming in on a couple of topics (I'm really not here, I'm at a conference)...

Ultimate Fantastic Four. Seriously. It rocks.

I love it (and Warren Ellis will be taking over the writing chores soon), but man, it is moving s-l-o-w-l-y.

The history of the world told through the Major Arcana of the Tarot (in numerical sequence) was quite breathtaking storytelling.

You forgot to add that it was accompanied by rhymed verse, for every single tarot card. And the exteneded story/joke carried through the entire book.

That issue probably took me 4 hours to read through the first time. I doubt I've ever read a comic as dense with material as that issue (#13, I believe).

So come, my friends, be not afraid/We are so lightly here/It is in love that we are made; In love we disappear

Or help out with waxing his bikini-line.

Do you think it's green?

Now let us crush something soft and watch it fountain blood. That is a girlish thing to want to do, yes?

Do you think it's green?

If it was, then would Bats ask him to the prom?

"I remember when they eventually introduced that drug kingpin who murdered people and smuggled drugs inside snakes and I was like 'Finally. A normal person.'” —RahvinDragand

You know when you think if only you could enjoy something you would enjoy it very much, and it seems like this is something that could work for you?

That was Promethea for me. I bought the first TPB, but it grabbed me not a whit.

I know what you mean. Alias should be a television show designed specifically for my tastes, but actually watching it tends to leave me with an "eh." reaction. But I fell in love with the Promethea series before the end of issue #1.

GS: If you had to choose between kicking evil in the head or the behind, which would you choose, and why? Minsc: I'm not sure I understand the question. I have two feet, do I not? You do not take a small plate when the feast of evil welcomes seconds.

A really dark (as in hard to see) picture of Bale in the new batsuit is up at Superhero Hype.

with a gleam in my eye, and an almost airtight alibi

Continuity Meter: After this story, the Continuity Meter began crying and told me it's never known love.

Ahahahahahaha. Where is this from, Hec?

"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

Ahahahahahaha. Where is this from, Hec?

From the Gone And Forgotten site linked upthread, where the writer tried to analyze a Wonder Woman annual.
