Now let us crush something soft and watch it fountain blood. That is a girlish thing to want to do, yes?

They're pretty much all going to be .cbz and .cbr.

You know, right, that .cbz and .cbr files are just .zip and .rar archives with the file extensions changed? I'm not sure of the current state of mac compression utilities, but at least those are pretty standard compression algorithms, so something oughta do it.

The link I posted is to a viewer that works with the Mac. Holli should be fine if she's on OSX.

(And I know that, having made them!)

Well, I kinda figured you knew, having just seen an example this morning. Was too lazy to come up with less specific wording that didn't sound stuffy.

What else besides ramen can you scoop? YOU CAN SCOOP THIS WORLD FROM DARKNESS!

P-C, whyfore can't you use a library? Were you banned for doing unspeakable things to the microfiche?

Oh, it's just that I haven't bothered to get an Ann Arbor library card, and I don't really have that much time to read for pleasure as it is. Although I've been making time now. I have several books I own I haven't actually read yet (as well as some books I read long ago that I'd like to read again), so I'm pretty well covered.

But when I was at Rice, one of the best parts of coming home was getting to go to the library and getting a bunch of books to read over break. The librarian knew us, we went there so often. Oh, and I mean...the library! All those fucking books! And they let you read them! For free! Some things about this world don't suck.

I look more rad than Lutheranism

Seriously -- the library is the coolest thing EVER.

I know, I'm just still pumped from all that scanning.

With my new scanner.

That I bought just for that.

an overblown libretto and a sumptuous score/ could never contain the contradictions I adore

Plei, that site would be *perfect*... except all the links that would allow me to download the damn thing seem to be broken. Grr.

I'll try changing the extensions, and hope for the best.

Hey. New board.

Holli: Try Jomic. It appears to do pretty much what Comical does.

I actually use comical, but if the links are down. (shrug)

Holli: hold off on that, and I'll do more digging for you in about two hours.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

I think I missed an introduction to The Outsiders. What is it and should I start buying it?

The Outsiders used to be a group of misfits run by Batman, which ran concurrently with The New Teen Titans.

The Titans broke up when the member Troia (ex-Wonder Girl) was killed. Nightwing (ex-Robin, natch, ex-Titan) was convinced by Arsenal (also ex-Titan) to oversee another random group of superheroes, Outsiders #2 (Teen Titans also restarted, (current Robin, current Wonder Girl, Superboy, etc).
