"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

Oh look...original Alan Davis Miracleman art for sale, when it was still Marvelman. Too bad nobody around here would have an interest in buying this.

"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

It's kind of a tossup, isn't it?

Save money to properly rear your firstborn child, or blow it all on a piece of original art for the single most important comic in your life.

It's a puzzler.

So come, my friends, be not afraid/We are so lightly here/It is in love that we are made; In love we disappear

Just choked on this review for the upcoming Robin storyline: Tim Drake has retired, so why the hell would Batman pick another Robin? Well, we'll find out in this issue, and as the new Robin is apparently a girl, I suppose this means Batman is now bi curious.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Hec, if you get closer to the time, and are still willing to do that, I'd LOVE it. My comics should be boxed. The storage room is a bit of a mess, but the comics should be in their long boxes.

Worst case scenario you give me the news that the nutria ate them, but at least I'd know. I can't see myself getting to NO too much before the end of the year.

I think Paul Smith is my favourite Storm artist. If I had to submit one picture for a deathmatch (and what a pivotal scene it is), it'd be this.

I've been working on a song about the difference between analogy and metaphor.

Tales of the Vampire

I had suspected Edna was going to turn out to be Giles' grandmother. My only remaining question is whether Roger is Roger Wyndam-Pryce, and got married fairly late; Roger Wyndam-Pryce's father, also Roger; or somone else entirely.

Not got a lot to say...

A quick thank you to Raquel for that Adam Hughes site.

Wonderful.
