Actually, I was thinking it would be sort of like a pet. You know, we could...we could name her Trixie, or Miss Kitty Fantastico, or something.

You can't leave me to my own devices; my devices are Nap and Eat. -Zenkitty

And did I mention that the alien shape-changing ape was name Pepe?

Dear loward. That sounds like a very un-Denny storyline.

This is totally off topic, but I suddenly want a run of X called "Unsightly X-Men."

BWAHAHAHAHAHA!!!

Newarama has just posted some pencilled pages of Astonishing X-Men #2, and Cassaday's depiction of The Beast could qualify.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

The Beast has been pretty unbecoming for a while. But he's franchise. They can't kill him.

Know what I love about Jean Grey's death? Everyone's all "well, she is The Phoenix. She may be back. Are you free for coffee?"

No, I don't think I will - me, quoting Captain Steve Rogers, to all of 2020

BWAH!!

The feisty and irascible "Wolverugggh!"

The mighty and repulsive "Colossugly".

Cyclops! He only has one eye! It's not a gag name! ONE! EYE!

To understand what happened at the diner, we shall use Mr. Papaya! This is upsetting because he's the friendliest of fruits.

X-Heaven has a revolving door. Manned by Darla.

I do loathe Kittycat Beast something fierce.

And, well, except for in the "Ultimate X-Men" comic, apparently, since he just got killed off over in that continuity.

Not got a lot to say...

Catching up: Re, the City of Heroes MMPORPG; I've got a friend who's been playtesting it for quite some time and he loves it. The options for designing your costume are vast and no one can have the same outfit.

Also, those little Buffy Block figures? They've just put up images of Season 1 Buffy, Willow and Darla here(scroll down). The Willow one is cute.

"Don't think of yourself as an organic pain collector racing towards oblivion." Dogbert to Dilbert

An interview with Neil Gaiman about 1602. At last, a mystery solved:

JP: What was the deal with the dinosaurs? I understand why the Forerunner’s arrival would have prompted the universe to create the other "Marvels". But what does Captain America have to do with prehistoric creatures?

NG: It's the ripple effect; it's alluded to in the Watcher's big speech on the splash page of #3, and in #6. Cap's arrival was like a stone dropped into a pond: one of the things it changed was that the Savage Land effect now covered most of America. A long time ago, different animals went extinct, different animals lasted. Even the housecats were sabre-toothed... Luckily, the laws of narrative meant that you didn't get a Bradbury butterfly effect going on.

It looks like CaBil was right.

The generation that could change the world is still looking for its car keys.

Yeah, I'm really really tempted to play City of Heroes, and I've never been tempted by a MMPORG before. Well, except Rekonstruction, and that's because one of my buddies is the VP. Well, that, and it's real-time and can support over 1,000,000 concurrent connections. Which, wow.
