So come, my friends, be not afraid/We are so lightly here/It is in love that we are made; In love we disappear

What Victor said. I think I saw a novelization of it recently at B&N, but the real deal is well worth reading.

Randomly, I share a birthday with the late Julie Schwartz. I feel strangely unworthy.

Okay, what are the 5 or 6 tpbs that I should be looking for then?

To understand what happened at the diner, we shall use Mr. Papaya! This is upsetting because he's the friendliest of fruits.

Okay, what are the 5 or 6 tpbs that I should be looking for then?

Batman: No Man's Land, Parts 1-5.

Batman: No Man's Land Vols 1-5.

Dreamland's EBay store generally has them in stock, and with TPB orders over $30, shipping is free.

(Why, yes, I order from them often... why do you ask?)

Thrive to spite them

Hey I found the comic book talk.

After reading Batman Year One I want to know more about Catwoman.

I'm not sure what book I'm going to get next---probably what ever is in the store when I make an impulse purchase. Although I am working off the list I've made from everyone's suggestions.

"I remember when they eventually introduced that drug kingpin who murdered people and smuggled drugs inside snakes and I was like 'Finally. A normal person.'” —RahvinDragand

Yeah, goatees are good for that, too (makes "goody-little-two-shoes" face at victor).

Careful Sean, that's a 35 year-old fandom indicator for evil. This is the 21st century, and if I'm not mistaken Victor has far more leather pants-wearing cred than you.

OMG! The Buffy Palz are three-dimensional StorTroopers!

... and that's a Pantera's box you don't want to open. - Mister Furious

Jumping back a bit:

Of course, when Superman gave Batman the Kryptonite, you just know that as soon as he left, Bats tossed it to Alfred and said 'Put it with the others'.

move out and draw fire

So true.

Skipping a bit: have you guys seen this? I'm not usually into superhero games or MMPORPGs, but a friend has sold me on trying it at least. I'm Jena SeQuois, but I don't know how often I will be in.

"We are the Goon Squad and we're coming to town...Beep! Beep!" - David Bowie, "Fashion"

Plei's Marvel/DC (comic book slash, hee) epiphany just led me to one of my own. Writing/acting issues aside, the biggest problem with Smallville is that while the Luthors still feel very DC, the rest of the show is trying to do Supes as a Marvel comic. So there's at least two levels of cognitive dissonance going on, and not in a fun way.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

How would you describe Supes as being Marvel?
