So come, my friends, be not afraid/We are so lightly here/It is in love that we are made; In love we disappear

PLEI! We need your "Crisis" knowledge!

Victor will do. He's my good twin, as I recall.

(He beats me to things ALL the freakin' time. Plus, I bet he's got 99% of the brain today.)

"We are the Goon Squad and we're coming to town...Beep! Beep!" - David Bowie, "Fashion"

...well, let's just say they're in a "safe place".

Sort of like Dustin Hoffman in PAPILLION, then?

To understand what happened at the diner, we shall use Mr. Papaya! This is upsetting because he's the friendliest of fruits.

And, brief note: I wonder what Marvel-boy Joss will think when he sees we've been nattering D.C. so much in his thread.

Hey, Joss! Marvel used to be cool--and I'm sure you're X-Men will be great--but over all? D.C.'s better lately. (:

t /Whedon baiting.

How come I have to be the good twin?

Yeah, but most of it's being used on laying out a newspaper that's too big and doesn't have enough content.

Lapsed Lurker

Okay. Missed that...I thought Lori Lemaris was axed in Crisis.

Alas, no. She even had to go through an entire arc where she threatened the Clark/Lois relationship during their post-Crisis engagement. It was pretty annoying.

I'm not sure if Zero Hour did anything to her though.

You can't leave me to my own devices; my devices are Nap and Eat. -Zenkitty

How come I have to be the good twin?

Duh! Because you have a goatee.

Or you shaved your goatee.

Or something.

GO PUT A GOATEE ON!

You always do this. We get tipsy, and you take advantage of my love of the scientific method.

Lori exists post-crisis. She even had some brief relationship to Superman, although she figures more prominently in Aquaman's stories these days.

Did they ever straighten out which Atlantis was the real one, Lori's or Aquaman's? Because Aquaman's people had two legs.

Did Amych and I ever share our thought that the reason a lot of early BtVS viewers were put off by the show's later seasons, and never attached to Angel, is that the later seasons of BtVS and the whole run of AtS are far more DCverse in tone, and the alienated viewers (know it or not) were really firmly Marvelverse? (I think that's the same conversation where we decided Marvel = cooler concepts, DC = way cooler execution, at least in recent stuff.)

There are now several cities within the country of Atlantis, the residents of which, IIRC, two became merpeople.

No, but this makes a lot of sense.

And Sean, the goatee is gone, with no intention of returning.

Ooooh, very interesting theory. Can you enable the patented Ple Mapping Device (with special Amych attachment) to support this contention?
