This girl at school? She told me that gelatin is made from ground-up cow's feet and that every time you eat Jell-O there's some cow out there limping around without any feet. But I told her that I'm sure the cow is dead before they cut its feet off, right?

So come, my friends, be not afraid/We are so lightly here/It is in love that we are made; In love we disappear

IIRC, the blue chick killed her. (Indigo)

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Donna Troy was killed by that strange computer girl in The Outsiders, except she (not Wonder Girl) was a Superman robot at the time. It's why the previous TT disbanded.

I can't accurately answer the Kory question without the comics in front of me.

with a gleam in my eye, and an almost airtight alibi

I remember a conversation in Nightwing between Dick and Babs where she alludes to his relationship with Donna.

There's a couple of places where they talk about his being friends with Donna. Which is why I was surprised that her being dead didn't come up.

Do I need to read The Outsiders too?

S to the A -- using they/them pronouns!

Whereas Dick had him, Bruce had no one.

What about Alfred? There's probably backstory and characterization I'm missing here.

Wow, that chick's brains are fucking hot.

Yes. It's very gay.

making her home at bronzebeta.com since 2001

Many thanks for the link upthread to the Devin Grayson interview! It was a wonderful read. I haven't read her comics, but I enjoyed reading her Smallville book, 'City'.

A turkey in every toilet -- only in America!

OK, now you guys are makin' shit up.

Okay. Here's how I think it went: Indigo travelled back in time to the 21st century, and in the process of seeking out other robotic life, was using a Superman robot to repair herself (after having apparently attacked Cyborg, but really it was a wacky misunderstanding). Donna Troy was killed during this process.

Kory seems to have been talked back into the Titans by Gar. She's very cranky, and is probably going to kill and eat the Super Dog.

"You can't put a price on the joy of not giving a shit." -Zenkitty

Now if only I could figure out why her Titans sucked so bad.

From the interviews, I'd say her main area of interest is the Batfamily. I know I find it difficult to write a compelling story about characters I don't care about.

And one friend of mine was stunned speechless by the HoYay when I told her where Superboy came from

Whenever I'm trying to explain it, I pretty much end up with "Superboy has two daddies. No, really. But worry not -- no male pregnancy was involved. We think."

OK, now you guys are makin' shit up.

Every time I think someone's makin' shit up, they send me a scan, and I have to say, "Okay, so Impulse really did put on a cheerleader's uniform and wave his pom poms for Robin in such-and-such issue of Young Justice."

To understand what happened at the diner, we shall use Mr. Papaya! This is upsetting because he's the friendliest of fruits.

As was Lillith. It kind of bit.

Kory returned to Earth (again) during the "Our Worlds at War" crossover thing, IIRC.
