Thanks for all the suggestions! I have a long list, and off to the comics store I will go after work tomorrow.

My offline comics geek friend suggesting the Marvel reprints of Spiderman 1-20 or Fantastic Four 1-20, but we're not sure if he'd be put off by the B&W. My nephew was put off my Merlin game when I showed that to him, so I'm not sure how he'll do 1960's comics.

On Victor's rec, I got the first Outsiders trade.

I have just hit the point where Lex Luthor, being tortured by the Joker, taunts Joker about Batman liking Catwoman more. A: I think I like this. B: I think my jaw needs picking up off the floor. C: Joker in this really reminds me of Lorne.
