GS: If you had to choose between kicking evil in the head or the behind, which would you choose, and why? Minsc: I'm not sure I understand the question. I have two feet, do I not? You do not take a small plate when the feast of evil welcomes seconds.

Fun, Matt. Though hardly surprising. (First guesses for the writer in question would be JA or CH.)

I got in a similar sort of thing with Jess Heinig, the old Mage developer, though we kept it a little more civil. But the attitude of some of the WW people in their forums and on Usenet lead me to stop buying WW products for several years. Before that, I was heavily into Mage, got all the books, spent over a dozen hours a week in the chatroom, etc, etc. At about the time WW started showing new lows in customer relations, D&D 3rd Ed came out and it's developers seemed genuinely interested in the fans' opinions, etc. So I switched back to D&D. Years and several campaigns later, I feel like playing Mage again started tooling around the website and found the KAM novel. I'm still probably not going to buy anymore books, aside from "Ascension" (I'm interested to see how they end the line.) but I'm going to give the game another chance.

"I remember when they eventually introduced that drug kingpin who murdered people and smuggled drugs inside snakes and I was like 'Finally. A normal person.'” —RahvinDragand

Nah, actually I find Justin arrogant in a funny, professional wrestler's bravado sort of way. Plus, I tend to really like what he did with Vampire revised edition, so not a lot of criticism on my part. CH would be Conrad?

The guy in question is Malcolm [memfault], whose work I'm completely unfamiliar with. (I'm guessing either Werewolf, Changeling, Mummy, or the game-related fiction since I read none of those.) I called him out over his rudeness to another poster (imagine the nerve of the guy daring to post his opinion as a customer rather than a "factual" criticism), and now he seems to have zeroed in on me to follow around and carp at my posts regarding other writers' work. Ah well, all the time he spends cyberstalking me is time he's not getting paid work done in, and I think I've gotten him to the snideness threshold where his posts will actively discourage customers on the bubble.

Well, I think some of Justin's posts are a riot, but he also takes things too far some times. Yeah, CH would be Conrad. I've heard a complaints about his rudeness from a couple different people.

Malcolm? Huh. Maybe he's gotten jaded and bitter, because before I left he was one of the staffers that was still being more or less polite and actually discussed things rather instantly falling into "writer=right, fans=ignorant" that I've seen a lot of the WW staffers do. That's really too bad. Not sure what he's done recently, but I know he was working on Mage when I was still following things. He wrote the revised Akashic Brotherhood book, for example.

I may have to seize the cat.

Am I wrong that there is a Jewel Staite looking person in the pages from Joss's X-Men, and even wronger that she is Kitty?
