Art Crawl!!!

For some reason I thought that 1602 and Tales of the Vampires were coming out today. . .they aren't but I went and looked on the website -- looks like Ben Edlund is writing a story and doing the cover for the next TotV.

The lost sheep grow teeth, forsake their lambs, and lie with the lions.

It looks like 1602 #8 won't be out until March 31, at least according to the Marvel site.

"There are two sorts of people in the world: those who believe Joss Whedon is a genius and those who are wrong." - Connie Ogle, Miami Herald

When is the next Tales of the Vampires coming out? I didn't even know #2 was out when I got #3, and that resulted in me running around to several comics shops before I found one that had it in stock. I'd like to be ahead of the game this time.

"Don't think of yourself as an organic pain collector racing towards oblivion." Dogbert to Dilbert

Help! I'm attending MegaCon this weekend (comic convention in Orlando), and I need someone to convice me that $60.00 for a Fiesta!Giles figure is too much.

In other news, I picked up a Dopplegangland Willow, and got Karl Moline to sign my copy of the Fray trade paperback. Too late to get a sketch from him, though.

The Spike figures I've seen look really bad.

Jeff - you can get one (but just the one) on ebay for $22.99 here. Do not let the bright lights and crowded tables of the con fool you.

Thanks for the info, tina, but that's 22.99 pounds, which comes out to approximately $41.92, plus shipping from the UK. Still, it gives me a good idea what price range I should be looking for.

You always do this. We get tipsy, and you take advantage of my love of the scientific method.

I picked up a Dopplegangland Willow, and got Karl Moline to sign my copy of the Fray trade paperback. Too late to get a sketch from him, though.

The thing is, Jeff, if he had done a sketch for you, it would've been months before you got it.

GS: If you had to choose between kicking evil in the head or the behind, which would you choose, and why? Minsc: I'm not sure I understand the question. I have two feet, do I not? You do not take a small plate when the feast of evil welcomes seconds.

The thing is, Jeff, if he had done a sketch for you, it would've been months before you got it.

Of course, if you wanted Joss to write a caption too you'd have to will it to your next of kin so they could pick it up when it was finally ready. The combination of Joss and Karl seems to create space-time anomolies.

Though the results once they arrive are absolutely phenominal. Very happy with my Fray comics.

I suspect if Joss and Karl ever teamed up with Robert Jordan (for whatever reason), you'd get part one right away, but part two would have to be read while under a giant electric blanket due to the heat death of the universe.

Okay, I apparently desperately need sleep.
