Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

There's no good reason I can think of to prevent people from putting a closed thread on rotation to come up when they hit Read New. New only means unread -- if that's the way I want to work through Bureaucracy 1, so be it.

I thought of putting in a doohickey to unsub you from closed threads you've read everything of, but couldn't be arsed.

You always do this. We get tipsy, and you take advantage of my love of the scientific method.

More trouble than it's worth, and could be annoying, say, if you're a stompy who opens a new thread, then goes to the end of the old thread to add a link to the new thread before catching up on unread posts, and gets unsubbed in the process.

All is well that ends in pizza.

Yes, I like the sub option the way it is. I sometimes like to catch up in an old thread before I read the new one, and keeping it in my rotation lets me catch up without the extra clicks to go to the main and "pick" it.

Nana korobi, ya oki. (Fall down seven times, stand up eight.) ~Yuzuru Hanyu/Japanese proverb

What Daniel said. I'm often 500 posts, or more, behind in Natter and the end of the thread often has some of the best stuff. So, I stay subscribed even once it's closed so that I can catch up. No changing!

Days shrink and grow cold, sunlight through leaves is my song. Winter is long.

The font across the board just got little and wee. And there's a row of asterisks all the way across the page plus a quarter of the next line after the last post. Um?

Never mind. Local error. Fixed now.

I'd like to nominate the following Kaylee quote for the RQG; don't think I've seen it in there before. Cracks me up everytime I hear her say it.

“Grav boot ain't your trouble. I seen the trouble plain as day when I was down there on my back before? Your raid couple's bad.”

Yeah, I'm not sure which it is... it's something like that. I got that "transcript" off a site on the Internets.
