Sweet lumpy minion, you're the only one that understands. Probably 'cause I haven't sucked the brain out of you yet.

A turkey in every toilet -- only in America!

Fixed.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

I'm sure it's a very different experience on my 800x600 monitor than ita's 1920x1440, though.

Depends on how big my browser window is, doesn't it?

The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

At least on my browser, the new post in Meijaville has the same number as the second most recent post, and when you try to link to it, it goes back to the second most recent post.

You always do this. We get tipsy, and you take advantage of my love of the scientific method.

Maybe you just caught it at the moment it was auto-continuing? It looks fine to me.

Nope. There are two post 117's, and when I tried to send someone a link to the newer one, it linked to the older one.

Also, I bookmarked the newer 117, and then went into my bookmarks, and clicked the link, which led me to the older 117.

Gotcha. I was just looking at the last two posts in the sequence. I see it now.

I wonder if it's related to the fix ita did to get the threads to start with post #1 instead of #2? Jeff's previous recap was posted before we moved to the dedicated host, which is when we started having that problem.

It's happened once in each thread, Perkins. This is just more obvious because it is, I think, the last.

I knew the dual posts were happening, but not the bookmarking etc.

You can only link to one of any duplicate post, and it's always the earliest. So that propagates to the bookmarks.

Huh. When I got to the end of Natter 34, I unsubscribed, then clicked the link to the new thread in the last post. I was taken to the first post in Natter 35, but the system took me to the guest mode version of the thread. Going back logs me back in, but going to the home page doesn't. Also, it didn't log me out in this browser window.

If I go from Natter 34 to the home page, and then click on Natter 35, I stay logged in. If I then go back to the last post in Natter 34 and click the link, it logs me out again.
