I'd rather see the first page info, since that's where the thread rules reside. Perhaps if we used a smaller font than the current first page font it wouldn't be quite so objectionable.

Then we need to revise all the first page info. To make it shorter, and to make sure the rules are there. Because for Boxed Set, it was the slug that answered Emily's question, not the first page info.

I'd like to be able to see the slug and the first page info on each page, though smaller, especially on threads like F2F, where there's particularly important information on the first page.
