"I keep to a strict diet of ill-advised enthusiasm and heartfelt regret." Leigh Bardugo

So we'd have all the tags together? Cause that seems weird to me.

I'd rather just have my tag live with the posts that was made while that was my tag.

Calli: My people have a saying. A man who trusts can never be betrayed, only mistaken.Avon: Life expectancy among your people must be extremely short.

Well an argument against it. I think it would be kind of cool - like a Buffista Dictionary of Quotations.

Almost by definition a tag works in multiple contexts.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

I keep a running tab of all the tags I have that I think are worth keeping. It's not something I'd want automated.

Yes this.

I'd like this.

I skimmed right past this -- me, I also like my tag changing everywhere, all at once. Well, except for the archives, but I can't have everything.

I'm very attached to the ephemeral nature, is all. It's a characteristic for me.

You always do this. We get tipsy, and you take advantage of my love of the scientific method.

I think there are also other ways to do it. I store all of my ex-tags in my user profile. If you see someone else's tag that you especially like, you can always put it in COMM.

I can't find the WXing Natters in our archives [link] after Natter 8. Is that because they're in the attic (where I can find them)?

Yes. I've threadsucked all of the old WX threads, but I've never put them up because they aren't perfect copies (also, I'm lazy). The WX threadsuck program drops posts, so the threads I have are missing occasional posts. The threads in the WX Attic are complete at least.

I store all of my ex-tags in my user profile.

This is my practice too. All you have to do is click on my name to see any past tags I've used.
