Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

My pleasure. Stupid computers.

I'm still going over the request list, and am wondering what the proponents of user-set fonts, etc, see as the boundaries of that implementation (as opposed to proponents of a range of stylesheets from which to pick).

In fact, I'd like to set some sort of request revision deadline -- a point at which we can consider everything advocated for or ready to discard, so we can have a clean and relevant list.

How about the 14th?

Or now. We could just declare the list cleaned up now, and I vote we take everything off it.

Or we could just mark the mark/block/unblock/temporarily view thread placement complete, unless anyone bumps into problems in its implementation. Which I just uploaded.

You always do this. We get tipsy, and you take advantage of my love of the scientific method.

Nice...

I will do this, just as soon as the internet stops having a hissy fit and lets me access my webspace. (I really have to talk to my ISP about it...)

I'll have a check for that, msbelle, when I go through the deletions and corrections that Lee sent.

Expect doubled post numbers for posts that aren't nearly simultaneous.

Fixy thing.

I've had a stab at all the outstanding changes that received support and no contention that I can with details at hand.

I fear this burst of programmatic power may wane, so if there's anything to lobby/provide more specs for, sooner is better than later.

The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

I'll have a check for that, msbelle, when I go through the deletions and corrections that Lee sent.

I know I saw that, and I think I put it on the deletion list.

tries to look at list

curses internet

looks at version of list which is saved on harddrive

Right. Um. High on my personal priorities list would be "ability to label bookmarks"-- does that need more detailed specs, or something else?

And beyond that, to invite discussion of some other things-- what in the 'pesonalise board layout/font/colour' range would actually be useful and practical, for example. And to ask the named individuals who've requested some things to exand/spec out-- eg. Ouise and Sophia Brooks' problem with t br , Allyson's request about putting preferred charities on Buffista links, etc.

Or there are some seemingly 'minor' ones, like "enforce no posting after the thread has reached 10,000 posts", "fix the missing first post issue" which would be worth doing; or the programmatic interface for submitting to Quote Generator, which is probably (and I'm guessing here) more work, but would cut down on other kinds of work, so... would you need more specs for that?
