What is even happening?

I just clicked on the in-thread "subscribe" button in Bitches 21. I got this error message:

There has been an error. It's of the type we call fatal. Please don't be scared. You're not the one that's going to die.
Okay, where the $$&#&(@#& are the developers?
I hit my browser's back button, and when it took me back to the Bitches thread, the "subscribe" button had been replaced by the "unsubscribe" button. Just thought I should mention that error message.

Swouncing

I just used the beautiful new "Unsubscribe" button to unsubscribe from a closed thread, and the beautiful new "Subscribe" button to subscribe to a new one, and it's a great new feature, and thanks to all who made it real.

It is great.

I just got the nasty error message again though, when I subscribed to the new Firefly thread.

eta... Just tried it on COMM and this thread. I subbed, and got the error message, and then unsubbed and got the error message on both. Am I breaking the board? The feature works for me (subscribes me), even though I get the message.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

What's your browser and OS version, Cindy?

IE something or other, and Windows XP Professional 2002. I don't know how to find what version of IE I'm running, but I think it's at least 6.

I bop to Wittgenstein. -- Nutty

I got the error message too (Windows 2000, IE 6), but it seems to have subscribed me.

Days shrink and grow cold, sunlight through leaves is my song. Winter is long.

I'm getting the error message every time I subscribe and unsubscribe with the new buttons, too. But the function seems to be working fine. I'm on Netscape 7. 0.

S to the A -- using they/them pronouns!

Worked fine for me, Windows XP on Opera 7.54.

I'm gonna need you broken people to do some testing on a different site for me, in a couple days.
