It's temporary because if you view the post later, even if you do no other blocking or unblocking, it will be inblisible again.

ita, did you reset some stuff over there, for example, the last post read flags? According to the system, I hadn't ever read a single post over there, even though I've posted near the end of most of the threads.
There was one piece of oddness I couldn't duplicate. When I first went into Set Profile to unblock someone, I somehow got unsubscribed from everything in my Message Center. I tried doing it again, but wasn't able to replicate it, so it's just mysterious for now.
