Now, I can hold a note for a long time...actually I can hold a note forever. But eventually that's just noise. It's the change we're listening for. The note coming after, and the one after that. That's what makes it music.

How are you me? You need to stop that. Only I can be me. ~Kara

Yeah, it does seem quite zippy. If there's something else to notice, I'm missing it.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Fiddled with indexing. It seems a lot faster to me, but I'm way subjective.

I may do some benchmarking on the test site.

I'm seeing quite the zip also.

It's five thousand for kissing, ten thousand for snuggling... End of list.

Suddenly got very quick, yes.

Ann, that's a ferret.

Quick, but the last screen of Natter was double-wide for me for no apparent reason.

(ETA: But it may have been a one-time thing. It seems better now.)

I haven't trusted science since I saw the film "Flubber."

Not no apparent reason. sarameg's post pushed it wide.

Fixed it.

Hey. New board.

Yeah, the site is noticably quicker. Too bad Natter just got killed, or we could really stress-test it.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

I ran quick stats on the test site, and the main query that populates both the main page and the message centre now runs 80% faster.

More improvements as I think of them.
