Played with Kaylee. Sun came out, and I walked on my feet and heard with my ears. I ate the bits, the bits stayed down, and I work. I function like I'm a girl. I hate it because I know it'll go away. The sun goes dark and chaos has come again. Bits. Fluids. What am I?!

We should do a couple blank quotes for "Hush".

If I want to become a cloud of bats, does each bat need a separate vaccination?

If I understand you, even though there are 2,500 pages with "firefly spoilers", few of those hits are on the front page, and google ranks front pages higher than some page buried within a site? That makes sense.

I think it's more that we have the exact phrase "firefly spoilers", instead of "firefly" and "spoilers" in completely different sections of the page.

Warms my heart that other people than me search for Xander slash.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Multiple message center settings, so you wouldn't have to unsub before a show if you're on the Left Coast.

My head explodes to think on it, but I admit I haven't thought very hard (mostly because I'm picking up pieces of my skull from the floor).

My first (non destructive thought) is that Sunday afternoon I uncheck two threads, Sunday evening I recheck. Ditto Tuesday, ditto Friday. Which would mean I'd need 4 message centre settings to cover this, which is about as much (user) work as unchecking and rechecking.

A turkey in every toilet -- only in America!

I hate to say this, but the exact phrase "angel spoilers" also appears on the front page. The thread is "Buffy and Angel SPOILERS"....

Right, but "Firefly spoilers" has a much smaller pool of relevant results to compete with.

Calli: My people have a saying. A man who trusts can never be betrayed, only mistaken.Avon: Life expectancy among your people must be extremely short.

People who want multiple message center: we have that capability now. Simply get yourself a Yahoo or Hotmail address or other free email address different from the one with which you are currently regisitered. Create a new user name.Voila, new user name, new profile, new message center. Lather, rinse and repeat as needed.

No. Please don't start registering multiple times. Four per west coaster? No ... I'll write the code. I'll work something out.

Nope. That's more of a PITA, and throws things off if you want to post and then peeps have to keep track of you and things are confusing... Okay, also, somewhat squicked by the notion of multiple log-ins for anything but Sang Sacre stuff.

For the record, I'm sub'd to everything except the Atlantic Canada thread, (edit:) and don't unsub, as I don't use Read New, and mostly brought it up as a subtle "Topic! Topic!" thing. And, well, cause I thought it might be a neat feature.

When it gets to a certain hour, I just don't look at the relevant thread. Though I get a decent gauge of what kind of ep it is by how fast the new messages mount up. Or does this have to do with people clicking on Read New instead of just Message Center?
