It goes to the e-mail of user #1.
Oh.
There currently is no user #1.
That might cause a problem, no?
Heh.
And when you have enough users, you should take the register page down.
Good idea. But FYI I don't have SSH access to the board from work, as our firewall blocks those ports. And my boss inisists on doing all the firewall configuration himself.
I'll check in a few minutes for ita on the test board....
It goes to the e-mail of user #1.
Oh, and do you suppose it would go to the admin of the test board, or the real admin of buffistas.org?
edit: ita, I activated you and made you a stompy.
edit 2: Duh, I reread ita's post...
Thanks, tommy -- I never got a confirmation e-mail, though, so I can't log in.

I'd set it up to go to you for now.
What user # did the users start with?
I never got a confirmation e-mail, though, so I can't log in.
Huh. That's happened to a few people.
What user # did the users start with?
It was #1, but I deleted that user (who was admin) and added admin in again, so now the first user is #2 or something. But this is just a data issue, and easy to fix.
ita, I reset your password--maybe you'll get this email....
Hotmail sent my confirmation to my "Junk Mail" box. Maybe it got filtered by other people's software, too?

Oh, this might be related to the admin not being user_id=1 thing. In my confirmation emails, there was no sender, so maybe some spam filters are blocking it for that reason.
No password reset e-mail either, tommyrot.
ita, can you see if they were blocked by spam filters?
Not from here -- technically everything should show up in my webmail before it's grabbed my my spam filters at home, and I've been monitoring it pretty closely. If there's an admin id of 1 with a good e-mail address, can you try again?
