Yes, Nilly, the pins show up, even if you aren't going to put one in. Anyway, they do for me. If they don't for you, that's a bug. I'll need to know what browser/OS you are on to track it down.
I'm working on the Europe/Medit. map right now, so you will soon be able to push your own pin!
