The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

ita, what type of write up do you want, and do you need one from everybody?

A turkey in every toilet -- only in America!

I think Jon's suggestion is the most elegant

t takes a bow

t sticks tongue at Opera coders

You always do this. We get tipsy, and you take advantage of my love of the scientific method.

I think Jon's suggestion is the most elegant, and I'd rather not do the second-best change and then the best one. If it's determined (and I did precisely no research over the weekend, despite saying I would) that Jon's solution never works for Opera -- then we should go with making the blocked post first.

I have no problems with that approach.

I tried and tried, but nary a thing went buggy on me. I have the same preference as DX re: where it brings you back, but I think you're in the process of coming to conclusion on that, and I've got nothing helpful there.

Also, same question as Lee re: write-ups.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

If you didn't find any bugs and don't have any recommendations, then a thumbs up will do.

Our wings are not tired.

What JenP said.

My only question is a non-technical one: did we decide to lose the MARCIE moniker?

Huge, honkin', two thumbs-up and an even bigger thank you (See? Bigger.) to all of you who made it, and made it work so well.

t stands and applauds. there may be some loud whistling, too.

Now let us crush something soft and watch it fountain blood. That is a girlish thing to want to do, yes?

Thumbs-up from me. I didn't do anything too heavy-duty to it, but in what I did do (blocking and unblocking from the post, unblocking from the profile page, unblocking multiple users at once, temporarily viewing blocked posts, finding and handling the list of blocked users in the profile) I didn't run into a single problem.

I did think we had a certain amount of, if not total bullshit consensus, at least strong feelings on the side of not calling it MARCIE vs. not-strong feelings in favor -- weren't we going to change the label "this user has been blocked by MARCIE" in the blocked posts to "this post is inblisible" or somesuch?

I was charmed (albeit somewhat perplexed) by the fannish sensibility of many of the music choices -- it's like the director was trying to vid Canada. --loligo on the Olympic Opening Ceremonies

Yeah, it was fine. The only weirdness was that you couldn't temporarily unblock the posts of more than one person at the same time, but that's probably unnecessary anyway.

The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

Thumbs up and thanks from me as well.
