Yes, it's terribly simple. The good guys are always stalwart and true, the bad guys are easily distinguished by their pointy horns or black hats, and, uh, we always defeat them and save the day. No one ever dies, and everybody lives happily ever after.

S to the A -- using they/them pronouns!

Jengod's page has been down for a fairly long period of time; she mentioned it upthread, but I suppose it wasn't fixed.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

rtsuk, there's been some talk of that. I believe it may be In The Works, at some point.

Nobody

Has there been any talk of a preview-before-posting function? That would be really helpful.

You sip / say it's your crazy / straw say it's you're crazy / as you bicycle your soul / with beauty in your basket

I think the edit function takes the place of that, Cindy. But that's just me.

Calli: My people have a saying. A man who trusts can never be betrayed, only mistaken.Avon: Life expectancy among your people must be extremely short.

First of all this is a great board. And I hope the programmers understand that any suggestions are of the "We will cheerfully live without it if is too much to ask, and will cheerfully wait years, if it is not a top priority".

But I have very bad eyes. And don't think it is really esssential that the composition box be at the bottom of the page with the last few post above it. I would like a full screen compose button, that would give me a full screen edit with a large composition box, and a large font.

I know there are ways I can work around it now, increase the font in my browse and reduce it again after posting. Or compose outside my browser and then cut and paste. But having large font message composition available right on the board would be very handy. I might demonstrate my "Typo Boy" superpower less often.

Our wings are not tired.

"We will cheerfully live without it if is too much to ask, and will cheerfully wait years, if it is not a top priority".

Bore repeating.

No other candidate is asking the hard questions, like "Did geophysicists assassinate Jim Henson?" or "Why is there hydrogen in America's water supply?" --defective yeti

I don't think the font size in the posting box will change even if we fix that "can't increase font size" thing. It doesn't work on Google's page.

"Mister Spock is on his fanny, sir. Reports heavy damage."

Can I just say? I was in natter just now, and posted something, and then scrolled up to the top and was about to click the Previous button to see what had come down in between my stopping reading and when I hit post.

And then I realized I don't have to. Wasn't that clever of everyone who planned that little feature?

Yay team!

Are you ready to be strong?

Does anyone know if there's a way to search for a phrase with the buffastas.org search engine? I tried putting it in quotation marks but it still searched for each word, rather than the phrase as a whole.

You always do this. We get tipsy, and you take advantage of my love of the scientific method.

There doesn't seem to be, Rio. I've tried it (edit: searching for a phrase using quotes), too, and it didn't work for me.
