You always do this. We get tipsy, and you take advantage of my love of the scientific method.

I looked at the original links page, so I can probably get some of the missing ones back where they belong.

I wonder how the others vanished.

Oh! That reminds me. I was downloading all of the Angel and FF threads the other day and the WX Angel threads #7 & 8 seem to be missing.

You mean in the b.org archives, or at WX? I have threadsucks of everything from WX, I just haven't put them all up yet.

Also, I added the core sites that are still active from the original links page to the current one.

Here at b.org. There are links at /archives/ to download those two threads but, when you click on them, you get a file not found.

Huh. (I'm saying that a lot today...) The URLs are correct, the files just aren't there. I don't think I have the keys to the archives ftp yet, so I can't fix it. Well, also, I can't fix it because the threadsuck is on my computer at home, where I am not.

I actually just looked to see if they were on my copy of your pre-move backup but it would seem they are not. So it's a big huh all around, I think.

I think I know what happened. We've sort of had this conversation before.

There was a problem with the subdomains after we moved over, and I suspect that the missing threads were loaded to the wrong ftp site as a result.

Actually, the conversation starts here:

Hmmmm...let me poke around a little in the other folders and see if it ended up somewhere else.

ETA: Nope. They were nowhere on the site backup. I'm thinking that if they got uploaded, they never actually made it anywhere in the subdomain wackiness.

It's okay, I do have copies at home.
