Spike: Lots of fuss over one girl. Other things to do around here--important things. Angel: You know that whoosh thing you do when you're suddenly not there anymore? I love that.

"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

No errors here either. So...it looks like our theory is correct and it's the MySQL bug which is miscounting. And that will build up again, is that correct?

I can't even.

Just an enduser here, but it sounds like we need a reboot of the MySQL whoosit every 2-3 weeks, probably around 3am board time and that clears us up, pending the update that squishes the bug. Is that correct from a layman's view? Would that be problematic to arrange?

"I keep to a strict diet of ill-advised enthusiasm and heartfelt regret." Leigh Bardugo

Quick question... we're moving right? But to where? And when? And how much will it cost?

Our wings are not tired.

I'm unclear on that too. (and fearful of the unknown)

edit to ~wave~ to Kat while I'm here.

Would that be problematic to arrange?

It would be impossible to arrange in this current location.

we're moving right? But to where? And when? And how much will it cost?

The answer to the first question is yes. As to the rest, I don't know that anything has been decided. Conversation on the subject seemed to die out earlier this week.

How are you me? You need to stop that. Only I can be me. ~Kara

I thought conversation died because we were taking your offer, Kristen. So, I'm seriously confused too.

We are Buffistas. This isn't our first apocalypse. -- Pix

It's my understanding we didn't take Kristen's offer because if the problem is solved easily by rebooting the code once a month, there's no real reason to pay $200/month.

Yes? Please correct me if I am wrong.

Astarte - Oct 31, 2003 9:13:24 am PST #5929 of 10000
Not having has never been the thing I've regretted most in my life. Not trying is.

That was also my understanding, Consuela.

Seemed to be moving toward the Istrata solution, but it's really up to the Geekistas who will have to bear the brunt of the move and maintenance to decide the best available course.

I'm terrifically busy with my ennui.

Last word from Kristen, the patient and long-suffering, was that the FanGeek offer was off the table:

Actually, I pulled the offer yesterday. My recommendation, at this time, is that you go with Rob's istrata offer.
