Also, you can tell it's not gonna have a happy ending when the main guy's all bumpy.

And then Ortus came and said "It's Ortin' time" and they all Orted off into the sunset

Tom, that happened to me the first time I registered, and it turned out to have been because the confirmation link got truncated by a line break in my email. Could that be what's happened?

You always do this. We get tipsy, and you take advantage of my love of the scientific method.

There's a few people who seem to have had problems the last few days. I wonder if they're hitting the database connection issue when they try to activate.

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

Yippee! I'm me again. Thanx.

When I went to reset Tom's password, I noticed that his tommyrot account wasn't activated, which shouldn't be because he'd already posted using it. Which means it got deactivated somehow. Is that possible without stompy intervention?

DX, you were the second to reset my password. When a password is reset, is an account deactivated until the user reactivates it?

No, resetting the password doesn't normally deactivate the account.

I bop to Wittgenstein. -- Nutty

ita, I blame you for the chicken blood on my keyboard. and the coffee on my monitor.

(new error message rocks, as far as an error message can. it's yet another reason to love this board. and ita.)

Thanks for all the fish.

So, did the board get - what, rebooted, reset? - last night as planned? Will we be error-message free for a while?

Can we have a deathmatch?

Remember that the frontier of the Rebellion is everywhere. And even the smallest act of insurrection pushes our lines forward.

I'm still seeing the error message this morning.
