I've also rolled back the code to the "displays funny title bar" version, FWIW.
Still getting the error message, post-change.

Do you have problems, concerns or recommendations about the technical side of the Phoenix? Air them here. Compliments also welcome.

Me, too. What if we changed it to the stapler-looking pi, or just wrote "cos(pi)"?
I know my stab makes no sense. I understand what DX is saying. It's just that's the differentish Natter title is the only difference between when things did work, and now. Wouldn't an outside attack/spider/whatever would have ended by now? The host says there's been no change. We've made no change. Our volume wasn't particularly high when the errors started up.
Could it be the Dark Lord Sauron?
Just got this message now:
October 20, 2003, 9:06 am JohnSweden[973]: ERROR [2] mysql_connect(): User bufforg_phoenix has already more than 'max_user_connections' active connections line 78 of file /home/bufforg/public_html/classes/giles.php
There has been an error. It's of the type we call fatal. Please don't be scared. You're not the one that's going to die.
Okay, where the $$&#&(@#& are the developers?
Cindy -- We had the problem last month before the new natter title. That time, the problem fixed itself. It's not the Natter title. Really.
However, I cannot rule out the Dark Lord.
Voldemort, maybe?
I'm still getting errors this morning as well. Mostly on "Refresh". And posting.
I'm getting errors going to threads, and when hitting "Message Center" both at the end of a thread and on the right hand side.
ita, I got your email and will try to deal with it this morning. But it's my first day back in the office so it may very well get pushed to later in the day.
Maybe I should send in the big guns.
Thanks, ita, that was helpful.
I would still like to see the output of a SHOW PROCESSLIST query (actually, several of them) to see if we can get an idea of what it is that's bogarting the MySQL.
Thanks, Kristen.
Tom, I can't get to the command line until I get back home, but I'll run that stuff for you as soon as I can.
Voldemort, maybe?
The errors have inconvenienced Tim as well, so if someone is intentionally causing them, whoever it is has no fear of him signing on to their favorite television shows and killing the most beloved characters.
Multiple connection errors on hitting "Next" in the Angel and Previously threads here in the last few minutes.
