Thread headers USED to display on every page, and there was a request to make that stop. So, like WX, that no longer happens. I'm against them being on every page, because it eats serious real estate.

I've been using the test board to try and duplicate this timeout error, and so far can't.
Can I have more details? Browser version, length of delay between loading the page with the posting box and hitting the post message button? Is "remember me" set?
Mine was on IE, and I was away for about an hour and a half, with 'remember me' set.

Yes, I think the answer here is to not, under any circumstances, leave the board for more than fifteen minutes. There. Problem solved.

I am on IE 6 on XP Pro. I do have remember me selected and it works. Network hub and DSL hub in the mix too. Anything else you need?
Also, note that after the error I hit back and posted this message with no problem. I think that finishing my thoughts within an hour or so before posting shouldn't be too much of a struggle. I almost always compose outside of browser anyway because I like to spell stuff right.
