Well some friends of Buffy played a funny joke and they took her stuff and now she wants us to help get it back from her friends who sleep all day and have no tans.

All is well that ends in pizza.

That sounds like possibly a browser issue, but I've had similar things happen. Also a link that is perfect in a post wanting to add a buffistas.org shell around the URL.

Both eventually went away, so I never could troubleshoot.

Visilurking

Just wanted to say, thanks for the threadsuck link to the homepage. The backspacing always drove me crazy.

"There are few hours in life more agreeable than the hour dedicated to the ceremony known as afternoon tea."

This really isn't that important, but I just took a look at my bookmarks and quite a few of them have dissapeared. They are blank spaces and the little delete box where they used to be.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Hmm. That's probably because the threads have been archived.

I'll need to clean that up.

Any word from our hosts about our resource usage? Did the changes help at all?

Rob spotted a bug in my code -- but there's been very light traffic since then. Kristen said they'd have to wait to be able to tell if there's much difference.

ita, any chance you can run that db_status script again? It has a lot of good info, even if a lot of it is in Chinese.

No real change there. There's still a lot of idle MySQL threads holding connections. There's nothing at all we can do about that, since that's the way they've configured MySQL on their machine.
