I thought a while ago that the Huckleberry Foundation was going to be the preferred charity, but it seems to have fallen by the wayside.
People from ME definitely gave to it / attended a function for it / donated stuff to an auction. It's a charity that provides free medical care for young people who are runaways or homeless, I believe.
Last time I looked, I only found one webpage and it seemed to be a smalltime thing associated with only one hospital in LA, though. Maybe they're not organised
online
enough for it to be easy to donate?
I'd like it not to be forgotten though.
It's LA Children's Hospital. Joss has been generous with the donations to them.
Thanks for that, Allyson. I don't know, there's just something that appeals to me about that charity. Of course if they're not organised enough to have a webpage, paypal account and whatever, one thing we might do for them one day is offer to set them up with more of an online presence. Just a thought.
Here's a link to a Buffy-related fundraising event -- a Buffy Bear Raffle
How 'bout a Blondie Bear Raffle for Spike/Harmony shippers?
LMAO!!!! That's Polgara...as in Polgara Demon's site. She's Kristen and my bestest girlfriend. I'll see about bringing her around to explain that fundraiser. There's a cute story.
I think that there should be an "Anyaland" to go w/the Nilly and Meija areas.
There used to be one, but then Anya stopped coming around.
ita, I've gotta know: Who's ID#1? Is it just the admin login, or a person?
