Mathair & Athair beo.

back in the days when computers were big enough to fill entire rooms, programmers would leave trails of cookie crumbs on the floor to be able to find their way from section to section. Unfortunately, the crumbs also attracted bugs...

and thus a myth is born.

Thrive to spite them

I feel silly, but I lost my bookmark in the crash but---after you threadsuck, what do I need to do in order to do a search?

Can we add this bit of info to the FAQ somewhere near John's Natter Diet.

PaulJ is my new secret board crush - work your coder magic!

While I still cannot offer coding help, if there is any cost to doing the CVS thingy with Kristen or stuff that goes above what we have. I will cover it.

You always do this. We get tipsy, and you take advantage of my love of the scientific method.

Well, that was bracing... What the hell was that all about? (The "suspended" message was up for a few minutes.)

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Dunno, DX. Am composing trouble ticket in other window.

Sorry for the yellage. The outage caught me in a particularly indignant mood.

I'd been meaning to mention that it has seemed to me that our performance has suffered some since we moved over to the dedicated server. Is that just me, or has anyone else noticed it?

I agree, DX, and have mentioned as much in a trouble ticket. Received no comment.

"Mister Spock is on his fanny, sir. Reports heavy damage."

You know, I have noticed it. On my work connection -- superspeedy -- HR is running as if I were at home on my 56K.

Then again, I've also been getting time-outs in LJ and WX is like molasses, so I figured it was just somebody else in the office downloading schnauzer porn or something.
