Lindsey: Why--why did you... Lorne: One last job. You're not part of the solution, Lindsey. You never will be. Lindsey: You kill me? A flunky?! I'm not just...Angel...kills me. You...Angel... Lorne: Good night, folks.

# one click in-thread to block a user

# one click in-thread to reveal a single post of a blocked user

# a section in the "set profile" page where you can take people off your MARCIE list.

This sounds fabulous, but really? Whatever is easiest to implement will float my boat, y'all. :)

You always do this. We get tipsy, and you take advantage of my love of the scientific method.

It is a nasty surprise, but I thought it was more important to make the make the annoyingly corruptible posts table smaller than to wait for me to get time to write the redirect code.

Well for the time being, maybe we can put a quick announcement in Press when a thread is about to be archived so that people can capture any bookmarks thay may have.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Not just the bookmarks, but any extant links in other threads.

No other candidate is asking the hard questions, like "Did geophysicists assassinate Jim Henson?" or "Why is there hydrogen in America's water supply?" --defective yeti

than to wait for me to get time to write the redirect code.

Which will come ... soon.

Maybe we could take some pressure off by moving the redirect code down the priority list. No one's missed Natter 1-6 yet, and if they do, we can easily help people with broken links. "thread_id=43? That's Natter V. Natter." Then they can search it up on the archive.

"I keep to a strict diet of ill-advised enthusiasm and heartfelt regret." Leigh Bardugo

I was at WX and PF momentarily today looking for something. Much of WX was locked up, which seemed sensical. And some was deliberately unlocked. But does PF get locked when we aren't there? When we are here instead? 'Cause if so, someone should lock it up since the doors are wide open.

Ficht nicht mit Der Raketemensch!

Nothing much to add except general praises to ita. I haven't mentioned how much I appreciate your work on this board.

Mathair & Athair beo.

This board is sharp. For good colour schemes and buttons check out Charmed's Cafe

For eg, we can mute the colours here slightly...more men here :-)

AFAIK, the only person who can lock or unlock threads at PF is Lance, which means we'd have to bug him to open up everytime we have an outage.

Mathair & Athair beo.

When I close the Windows window this board is in am I automatically logged out? When I come back I have to relog despite never having unlogged. I wouldn't expect to have to log back in unless I've actually been logged out.
