What page were you trying to get to? That's very weird.
Message center or the front page. Can't remember this morning which it was.

Do you have problems, concerns or recommendations about the technical side of the Phoenix? Air them here. Compliments also welcome.

Brian T. mailed me a PDF of his vampire ecology paper, which he'd be delighted to have us host. Where shall we put it? Filk? And who do I hand it off to?
Betsy, send it to me. I'll find a place for it.
Since I am popping in right now, I thought I'd ask - did anything become of Kristen's hosting option or are things moving forward with Karl?
Oh! Good question.
Is anyone here good at installing CVS?
I can do it, but I'm not incredibly sure I can do it right.
Have we figured out how to set up a test PHP environment for our changes that's compatible with CVS?
It won't be compatible with CVS, per se. What we need to do is work out a strategy -- first off by marking what we're working on (god, I have a lot of reading to do), and being able to mark that as being tested when it's reached that far.
I've been incredibly short on brainwaves recently, so I'll have to go back and read what our last discussion birthed.
OK, I have an issue.
I get in, I turn on my computer, swear at coworkers, and load IE to go to the Buffistas.
Where I get a popup ad.
Repeat: a popup ad.
I've since gotten another one. They're small, about 3"x4", they sit in the middle of the page, and I don't understand where they are coming from. My home page on this computer is the company homepage, and then I came straight here. So where the hell are they coming from?
I kinda doubt the discussions in Bureaucracy I missed had anything to do with allowing popups.
Yikes. I haven't gotten any, FWIW.
So maybe I'm infected with something and must take this to Technology instead.
