Mal: Yeah, well, just be careful. We cheated Badger out of good money to buy that frippery, and you're supposed to make me look respectable. Kaylee: Yes, sir, Captain Tightpants.

Sometimes I think I might just move up to Vermont, open a bookstore or a vegan restaurant. Adam Schlesinger, z''l

Not sure if this is where this goes, but I was trying to open our first Natter thread from the archives and got a "The compressed file is invalid or corrupted" message.

t edit: nevermind. I got it to work.

Calli: My people have a saying. A man who trusts can never be betrayed, only mistaken.Avon: Life expectancy among your people must be extremely short.

I no longer get a posting box in Natter 8, but can't find Natter 9, even when I use the "Buffistas Home" button.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

It may not have been created yet, Gar. I'll go to Bureaucracy and see if there's a name chosen.

An oddness I've seen: Sometimes the boards don't realize I've read something, and when I put a post in, the system counts that post and the latest bunch of new ones as the current number of unread posts.

No big deal, but a code oddity.

A turkey in every toilet -- only in America!

That could be a browser cacheing issue, Connie.

"Faded like the lilac, he thought."

There's something odd where a thread's slug is showing up formatted as though it were a link. But not the same thread each time, though so far it's been the three newest, movies, bitches and natter 9. Lemme close out and see if it's just my browser ferwonking.

"Faded like the lilac, he thought."

Looks like it's browser, cause it doesn't happen with IE or Mozilla, just Netscape (4.77). So, oh well.

A turkey in every toilet -- only in America!

By slug, you mean the things that appear under each thread name in Message Center and the front page?

That could be a browser cacheing issue, Connie.

How would one fix this? I dump the History and cookies and such regularly. Oh, and it's not just when I post.
