Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

I just paged back 15 pages, and all my posts are still there, and still there on the way back here.

Very weird.

That's really just a matter of whether the page is cached or not, isn't it -- something that we have no control over.

The only question, for me, is why WX was cached, but not this place.

Thanks for all the fish.

Yes, when I hit the 'back' button my post is not saved in the posting box.

You always do this. We get tipsy, and you take advantage of my love of the scientific method.

Lemme try something. I just changed the cache setting in Mozilla to not compare pages every time.

Trying it in IE now.

Thanks for all the fish.

I'm just going to sit here and not change anything.

Okay. Now I'm trying with IE5. My previous tests were with Opera 6.04.

It redraws the page when I go back. When I posted number 145, the only other post on the page was number 144. I posted, then went back, and both posts were now on the page.

Huh. Empty. And it reloads the page, so I can see all the posts. It's set to automatically check pages. But there's nothing in the headers telling the page to refresh.
