So, if the new people start pouring in at a scary rate, do we even want to consider putting a temporary cap on registrations until we get our bandwith issues settled?

I'm not sure we need it yet. Firefly is active right now, but it will probably drop off quite a bit after the 20th. Both Buffy and Angel (especially) are quiet, and we don't know how regular a contributor Joss is going to be yet.
