Dawn: I thought you were adequate. Giles: And the accolades keep pouring in. I'd best take my leave before my head swells any larger. Good night.

all the people who joined us at WX understand the message center, as that was a TT thing we all missed when we exited

Just for the record, our Message Centre doesn't behave the way TT's did.

TT's showed post (X plus one) of any subscribed threads if it existed, where X is the number of the last post you read.

But, John, if you hit read new, COMM and such are there, and if you look in message center, they're on the side....(I like them on the side, as sometimes I like to catch up there first, before hitting natter, so I know what people are congratulating/condolences about, and this way it's easier to find)

Apart from sports, "my secret favorite thing on earth is ketchup. I will put ketchup on anything. But it has to be Heinz." - my husband, Michael Vartan

psst. I knew you all liked me better than Alibeele. HAA.

This must be true. (And I'm assuming I'm Alibeele.) Because even though I've checked the threads I want, and I've ok'ed, and I've logged out, and logged in, I STILL have Spoiler Threads and the Mountie thingie and PPO and all these threads I don't understand.

How do I make them go away?

Signed,

Still have them where? On the front page, they're supposed to be there. Subscribing puts them in Message Centre.

Thanks, John. I'm better now. Last night I was under the impression that message center and home were the same. Well, because they were everytime I checked.

I have a bookmark for Message Centre, and when I click on it, sometimes it takes me to the frontpage and tells me to log in.

I might email ita about it if I can figure out the exact circumstances where that happens.

You always do this. We get tipsy, and you take advantage of my love of the scientific method.

I just had a post eaten. Got an error message, but I didn't copy it because I immediately tried to go back to save my post. Have I mentioned yet that I really dislike the fact that the posting box is erased if you move to another page? This is unlike WX, where if your post crashed, you could go back, and it would still be sitting in the posting box. I don't know if that's possible to implement, but it sure would be handy.

Test -- it doesn't happen to me, I don't think.

[EDIT]

I posted the above, used the "back" button, and the post was still there in the posting box.

Maybe it's a browser thing?

Thanks for all the fish.

It doesn't save the post in the posting box for me, either.
