You two carried me through that war. Now I need you to carry me just a little bit further. If you can.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

It's fixed now.

Bless you, so it is. Good work.

And I never would have whinged about it if it was just the minor annoyance, it was the bandwidth thing too, lots of extra hits on the front page I never needed to make.

A turkey in every toilet -- only in America!

S'probably obvious, but I'm not seeing any images all of a sudden.

S to the A -- using they/them pronouns!

I just realized that in the four months or so we've been here, we've never had a post burb. We've never lost posts, or been stuck offline for more than a few hours -- and even then, it was a one time thing. All our threads are working, the interface hasn't crumbled, and we've been able to discuss or repair any difficulties we've had with the board calmly and rationally, like the intelligent people we are.

I'd just like to thank ita and those who worked on the board again, for the hard work and talent you've put into creating our home. You have my everlasting gratitude, guys. This is still the most amazing thing we as a community have ever accomplished.

And on that subject, here's yet another little bit of PHP code which checks all tags for whether they have unmatched quotes of any kind in them.

Please test it if you have a moment.

A turkey in every toilet -- only in America!

I did some quick tests. It seems to work well enough, in that no board-breaking links will be posted. Nice work!

Thank you. That was a lot easier than the other one. There are either an odd number of quotes or there aren't...

ita knows where she can find me if she wants to fold these functions into the board.

I hope I'm in the right thread with this question- and it's probably not worth asking, but I feel I want to check.

When it says 'you may use HTML or quick-edit formatting' that means you can use them both, right? In the same post? ie. if you've started with one, say used HTML to include a link, you can later in the same post use quick-edit to create bold text?

Am-Chau: yes, you can use both!

Thank you- I thought probably so, but I'm terrified of using them wrong! Newbie fear.
