You were very nearly devoured by a giant demon snake. The words 'let that be a lesson' are a tad redundant at this juncture.

A turkey in every toilet -- only in America!

What is it you normally use, Jon? Are you all hardcore and use only Notepad or what?

Nahh, I use Dreamweaver, although I do spend a lot of time in code view.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

Seriously, it just occurred to me that really I should have it at "no refresh," because when I needneedneed to see if there are any new messages, I'm checking constantly, but then sometimes I'm not checking for a while, so what's the point of the computer checking for me.

Huh.

Is there any way to tell what percentage of our bandwith usage (or even page hits) comes from the message center page?

"Faded like the lilac, he thought."

I use Read New. I also hit refresh like a maniac. But I'm set at 5 minutes.

Of course, I wouldn't mind it if I could Read New in order of fewest to most new posts. Because when I'm doing it manually, that's the way I do it. But I don't care, because I can do it manually.

Moving from Bureacracy, because I'm an idiot that way:

Would it be okay to have a link to Set Profile somewhere at the bottomish of the page, like with the

Buffistas Home | FAQ | How-To | Etiquette | About | E-mail Admins

things? It'd be a lot of text on that line, I know, especially if you've a small monitor, but maybe we could move one of those things somewhere else, nest it at the top of the page. I'm just wondering-- I'm always going to the bottom of the page to look for it and getting confused.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

I think we could have the whole Read new/Message center/Set profile/View bookmarks bit at the bottom, but we don't. I don't know why that was done that way.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

You do have read new and message center at the bottom, you realize?

Why did Darth Vader cross the road? To get to the Dark Side!

I'm not seeing a great need to move Set Profile, myself.
